You're Successful, Capable, and Used to Handling Whatever Comes Your Way.

Close-up of a smiling woman gazing upward, resting her hand on her cheek outdoors.

So why does it feel like you're barely keeping up? Supporting overthinkers, perfectionists, and the ones everyone leans on, working through anxiety, burnout, and old patterns so you can rest, trust your gut, and feel content, not just accomplished.

When being overwhelmed hides behind holding it all together

Does something feel off, but you can’t quite explain why?

You answer the late email, smooth over the family tension, and say yes one more time. From the outside, everything appears handled. Inside, your heart races, your thoughts loop, and rest never quite lands. Does this feel familiar?

  • Your brain keeps going long after the day is done

  • You need to scroll or watch TV to get to sleep

  • You can’t say no without feeling uncomfortable

  • You can’t keep up with a growing to-do list

  • You get the results you want, but something still doesn’t feel right.

These experiences are normal, they aren’t your fault. These patterns made sense when they formed, and the strain you feel now is a sign they're ready to be understood, not proof you're failing.

I'm Candace Arnold, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. In other words, that means clinical care through a holistic framework with a trauma-informed lens, drawing on a multitude of modalities that fit best for each individual.

I became a therapist to help individuals find their "ah-ha" moment: when a partner finally makes sense and you can feel the relief land. I have years of experience seeing how early environments shape how women cope, lead, and love.

In our work together, you can expect:

  • Real listening first, then honest feedback delivered with care

  • Specific questions that connect present-day patterns to their roots

  • Structure without rigidity, at a pace you set

Many clients say they feel truly heard and see movement at the same time.

You don't have to know why. That's my job to figure out.

You can come exactly as you are, with no diagnosis and no rehearsed explanation. Something not sitting quite right is reason enough, and figuring out the why is my job. Fifteen minutes, zero pressure.

What Others Are Saying

In Their Words

Having known Candace, as a colleague and friend, for 3 years I can say with confidence that she is the most deeply empathetic person I’ve ever met. Selflessly meeting people where they are, whether they are clients, colleagues, or acquaintances, Candace listens and provides non-judgmental support is a way that finds each individual naturally. Beyond her professional life Candace pours herself into her family as a mother, daughter, niece, and sister. Her selfless empathy is evident across all facets of her life, while seemingly effortlessly maintaining a balance that keeps her own cup full, allowing her the ability to show up for all those around her each day.

What sets Candace apart is her remarkable ability to truly understand each individual she works with. She doesn't take a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, she carefully considers a person's unique experiences, trauma, strengths, challenges, and goals, and then tailors her therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs. Candace combines professional expertise with genuine compassion, creating a safe and supportive environment where healing and growth can occur. I am incredibly grateful for the role she played in helping both my daughter and me navigate one of the most challenging seasons of our lives, and I wholeheartedly recommend her.

What I love about Candace is she really takes the time to help me feel heard and understood. She’s present, clear and thoughtful in her approach and has helped me gain new perspectives in my relationships, sense of self and situations I usually find overwhelming. It’s clear to me that she cares deeply about helping me and others. Highly recommend!

I’ve known Candace for many years and have seen firsthand how she shows up for people. What strikes me most is her ability to hold two things at once: genuine empathy and honest challenge. She has a way of making people feel truly heard before she ever asks the hard question, and when she does ask it, you don’t feel confronted, you feel cared for. She’s the kind of therapist who notices the patterns you’ve stopped noticing yourself and holds space without letting you hide in it

As a colleague, I have been consistently impressed by Candace’s clinical judgment, professionalism, and dedication to her clients. She brings authenticity, integrity, and a trauma-informed lens to every aspect of her practice. Clients seeking support around anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, relationship challenges, or the pressures associated with achievement would be in excellent hands with her.
